The Feast Of Unleavened Bread

As Ordained By God

“The Importance Of The Feast Of Unleavened Bread”

By

Holy Moses

Thus Said The Lord:

“And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the Feast of Unleavened Bread to the Lord; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it. 8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the Lord for seven days. The seventh day shall be a holy convocation; you shall do no customary work on it.'" Leviticus 23:6-8

The Meanings Of Yeast

1.     Yeast is usually added to bread, to make it grow in size, to make it expand and appear bigger than its normal size.

2.     Sometimes, this is done to deceive people and make more money.

3.     Also, yeast means sin. Therefore, to eat bread made without yeast means to live without sin.

4.     Jesus told His disciples to beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees. That means the false teachings of religious leaders. And there are so many such false teachings, which include wrong practices, false beliefs and blind faith.

5.     The yeast refers also to man-made laws and doctrines, which are personal opinions and collective decisions made (forged) at meetings, councils, synods and conferences.

"These people draw near to Me with their mouth,

And honour Me with their lips,

But their heart is far from Me.

9 And in vain they worship Me,

Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.'"

Matthew 15:8-9

6.     They are the figments of imaginations, the fabrications of falsehood and the deceptions of the enemy.

7.     They are the false imaginations of the spiritually blind and ignorant religious leaders

8.     They are the culture and traditions, customs and norms, which have being used to replace God’s laws – the commandments, statutes and precepts, even so without the people knowing it.

9.     They include man-made ten commandments, which have been forged by your fellow men.

Meaning Of Unleavened Bread

1.     Unleavened Bread means bread made without yeast.

2.     It means purity.

3.     It means holiness.

4.     It means without blemish, without defects and without imperfections.

5.     The seven days of eating unleavened bread means that humanity should abide by the word of God only, for a long time, to regain their purity and glory as the image and likeness of God, which purity and glory were lost at the time of Adam and Eve.

6.     It means that humanity should abide in the ways of God.

7.     It means that the people of God must not learn the ways of the gentile nations.

8.     It means that we must add to or remove from the word of God.

9.     It means to study the word of God regularly:

"And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:6-9

10.             It means that the people of God must not learn pagan traditions and practices.

Thus says the Lord:

"Do not learn the way of the Gentiles;

Do not be dismayed at the signs of heaven,

For the Gentiles are dismayed at them.

For the customs of the peoples are futile;

For one cuts a tree from the forest,

The work of the hands of the workman, with the ax.

They decorate it with silver and gold;

They fasten it with nails and hammers

So that it will not topple.

They are upright, like a palm tree,

And they cannot speak;

They must be carried,

Because they cannot go by themselves.

Do not be afraid of them,

For they cannot do evil,

Nor can they do any good."

Jeremiah 10:2-5

11.             It means that people of God must remove form their midst any teaching or practice that is not from God.

"When the Lord your God brings you into the land which you go to possess, and has cast out many nations before you, the Hittites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Canaanites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites, seven nations greater and mightier than you, and when the Lord your God delivers them over to you, you shall conquer them and utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them nor show mercy to them. Nor shall you make marriages with them. You shall not give your daughter to their son, nor take their daughter for your son. For they will turn your sons away from following Me, to serve other gods; so the anger of the Lord will be aroused against you and destroy you suddenly. But thus you shall deal with them: you shall destroy their altars, and break down their sacred pillars, and cut down their wooden images, and burn their carved images with fire. Deuteronomy 7:1-5

12.             The holy book repeats the same thing:

Your glorying is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. 1 Corinthians 5:6-8

"For you are a holy people to the Lord your God; the Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the face of the earth. The Lord did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the Lord loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He swore to your fathers, the Lord has brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

"Therefore know that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep His commandments; and He repays those who hate Him to their face, to destroy them. He will not be slack with him who hates Him; He will repay him to his face. Therefore you shall keep the commandment, the statutes, and the judgments which I command you today, to observe them. Deuteronomy 7:6-11

The Appointed Time Of Unleavened Bread

Holy Moses: You should not make and use the Unleavened Bread, when it is not time to do so. The Unleavened Bread is used only during the Feasts of Passover and Unleavened Bread, and during the Second Passover for those who were not clean to attend Passover.

There is time for everything, and everything has its works to do in the body of a man, for the benefit of humanity. At the right time of making Unleavened Bread, there is a spirit, power and rites of holiness in it at that time. As you eat the Unleavened Bread then, it removes certain things from your body, and also puts something in your body. The bakery for making Unleavened Bread is not what you have to open any time or always, to bake Unleavened Bread. The place is usually holy and perfect, reserved.
